The London General Omnibus Co.'s new garage, which has been erected at Sydney Road, Muswell Hill, was opened for use• some days ago, its purpose being to accommodate buses which servo Muswell Hill and others which have their termini in the neighbourhood.
The new, depot, which has an area of about 27,000 super. ft., at present houses 60 buses, but it is capable of extension to provide accommodation for a further 30 vehicles.
It is replete with washing machines, sprinklers and the usual equipment of a modern bus garage, and the petrol installation system permits 12,000 gal.. Ions of fuel to be stored. The London General Omnibus Co., Ltd., now have 43 garages in regular el:admission.
