Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

is one of 30 in build for Hoyer group. Its rear steps conceal hose tubes under the top step and charge/discharge controls underneath. The 31,000-litre swap tank will carry food-grade products, but it's ADR/RID-certified to handle dangerous goods.

BP/TIP >>>>> _ _ _ _ TIP majors on buy-and-leaseback packages, and tankers such as its 20,180-litre gas carrier represent long-life assets. It's one of five built by Clayton Commercials for BP's gas division for delivering propane to remote or awkward sites, hence the high-vis livery and rear-ring LED lighting. This one based on a Renault Midlum 240 18-tonne chassis. The other four are based on MAN 4x2s, but they all boast carbon steel, 17-bar vessels with metering and discharge systems that delivers the gas at a low (500rpm) engine speed.

SUTTONS >>>>>

The Volvo FM440 SCR 6x2 Globetrotter-cabbed tractor unit is one of a batch from Cheshire's Suttons Group's £5m fleet replacement programme. With I-Shift gearbox and disc brakes with hill-hold, the 3.9m-wheelbase unit weighs in at 8.17 tonnes including full tanks of diesel and AdBlue. In addition to the factory-fit ADR/FL flammable-liquid package, the unit features an HDE discharge system with Gardner Denver's latest SC200 screw-type compressor.

BPW >>>>> This was the UK debut for BPW's latest Eco Disc trailer axle brake, which saves 14kg per axle.Workshop-friendly features include BPW's own brake caliper with inboard guide pin bellows, lighter mounting brackets, easier access for pad swaps, and discs that can changed without removing the calipers. Hubcaps are now bayonet-locked for faster access to the grease cartridge between taper roller bearings; a torque-limiting hub bolt maintains correct bearing adjustment. The new brakes will be available on the 4309 (430mm disc) and 3709 (370mm disc) 9.0-tonne axles next September, and on the 4312 10-12-tonne axles early in 2010.

MAISONNEUVE >>>>>

About half of Integrated Tanker Services 260-strong rental fleet carries milk, but it also has GP, chemical and powder vessels. This 37,500-litre ADR Class 3 tanker from Maisonneuve marks ITS's re-entry into the whisky trade, so it's no surprise it carries extensive customs sealing and security equipment. Built to a stepped tank design using scrolled 316 stainless steel on a 304 stainless chassis with DCA axles and Alcoas, the trailer tares out at 6.0 tonnes.

TCL >>>>> Leeds-based TCL. now part of the Turner group, build about 100 stainless-steel tankers and plant vessels a year, all on rigid and trailer chassis. Based on a Oaf 75.360 6x4 with Gardner Denver-Witig exhauster equipment, the 30,000-litre display tanker was the sixth of a batch for Welsh Waters transport supplier Kelda Services. Five more have been ordered and seven are destined for Yorkshire Water, with whom TCL has a threeyear vehicle supply contract.

HEIL >>>>> Heil exhibited a 42,000-litre, four-compartment 5000 Series tanker in Esso livery. It's one of 31 being built for Hoyer UK's ExxonMobil contract. Innovations include a shorter front combing and the absence of landing legs: quick-fit supports are held by each depot just in case. Also present was Heil's UK aftersales agency, A&R Vehicle Services of Wednesbury, West Mids, which has 60 workshop staff including many former Heil employees. Its forte is tank repairs, refurbishing and testing, while fellow A&R group member Yaxley Coachworks builds specialist trailers and refurbs reefers. FFB/CLUGSTON >>>>>

The construction sector may have slowed down, but major operators such as Clugston are still updating their equipment. This 40m' Feldbinder powder vessel is for one of its key clients which needs access to awkward sites, hence the Tridec hydraulic rear steering on the SAF drum-braked running gear. Clugston has a fleet of 100 mainly FFB tankers; this latest addition has a high spec level, that includes stainless-steel discharge system, slit aeration, double walkways and Groeneveld single-line auto-lube. With an unladen weight of 5.25 tonnes, it will be coupled to a tri-axle tractor to work at 40-tonnes GCW.

CROSSLAND >>>>>

Milk sampling is generally achieved via the tank top or from a low level, but this 20,100-litre Crossland dairy tanker has a test point integrated into the rear manlid. Built at Crossland's Swatragh, NI factory on a Scania 8x2 chassis, the vehicle carries 4,000 litres more than earlier 6x2 versions.

CLAYTON COMMERCIALS >>>>>

This 24,000-litre unclad chemical tanker is one of six built for Seabridge of Dublin, formerly a part of TDG, to haul urea formaldehyde on behalf of DynoChem. They will work out of Cork, delivering to customers who use the heavy liquid for bonding materials used with certain timber products. The 2.5mm shells are made of cold-rolled highly polished stainless steel. Running with DCA disc-braked axles and 385 65R 22.5 Goodyear Marathons, each tanker weighs 5.3 tonnes empty Clayton also showed a 33,000-litre aluminium vacuum tanker with self-powered compressor and steer axle, which weighed in at 5.7 tonnes.
