I am all For the planned maximum 48I hour working weekâonly a 55-hour working week would be safer at the moment considering we currently work 69 hours, and that's not including weekend work!
As for enforcement, you will have to trust the drivers who should be protected by the forthcoming "whistleblowers'" law. It is important to allow transport workers some kind of social life away train the cab. Most of my friends currently enjoy the same income from working 40 hours a week as I get from working 70 hours a week.
