ANEW RANGE of spray guns has been introduced by CompAir AutoPower, including general purpose units with syphon or gravity feed, a paraffin gun and an underbody gun. They will be of particular interest to users who cannot justify the cost of higher quality guns.
Model G70/1L is a new, general purpose, spray gun supplied with a one-litre capacity spun-aluminium syphon container. It is suitable for use with all cellulose, enamel and emulsion-based paints and is expected to be attractive to the larger specialist body re-spray shops where it will be used for primer applications, saving the top quality guns for the finishing coats.
The G70/1L is available with nozzle diameters of 1.8 and 2.2mm, to give good particulate flow rates for efficient paint coverage.
Similar, is the AutoPower E70 spray gun, which is designed for gravity feed and is supplied with a 0.5-litre gravity cup. The E70 is available with nozzle diameters of 1.8 and 2.2mm.
Also included in the new equipment range is a paraffin gun introduced primarily for spraying paraffin as a cleaning agent, but suitable too for applying light oil, or use as a straight air cleaning gun.
The fourth gun announced is the underbody gun, which is ideal for spraying sound proofing, underbody and other heavy materials. It is designed to fit directly on to a material container. All the new guns have moulded pvc handles for comfortable grip, and an easy trigger action for precise control.
The new additions complement existing CompAir AutoPower pneumatic equipment which includes an extensive range of compressors, hand tools and spray and refinishing equipment.
