Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

IT seems likely that most Continental tours will ha extended next year as a result of. the increase from £40 to £50 in the foreign tourist allowance. Operators were revising their itineraries almost as soon as the announcement was made by the Chancellor of the Exchequer last week.

A spokesman of the Passenger Vehicle Operators' Association told The Commercial Motor that they were pleased that the announcement was made so early. It would give operators time to revise their arrangements for next year. He thought it likely that many would extend the duration of existing tours.

Motorways (Overseas), Ltd., expect a greater demand for tours. Tours of Yugoslavia and Morocco, with 17 days in each country, will be introduced, and some existing trips extended.

Blue Cars (Continental), Ltd., plan to increase their fleet of vehicles. Some existing tours will be extended and new ones introduced.

Barton Transport, Ltd., had already made plans for extending tours under the £40 limit. Some tours of 8, 10 and 12 days will be extended to 13, 14 and 15 days respectively.
