Ltd., Yardley, last week withdrew at the last minute their application for a. new group of 137 excursions and tours, the West Midland Licensing Authority said: "Without any attempt to censure, I do want you and others to realize that this places a burden on the staff of the Licensing Authority which it should not be called upon to bear. . . . There is a long list of cases awaiting decision, and if the withdrawal had been made known in time, some of them could have been heard today."
It was stated that the company had learnt only the previous day that their supporting witnesses could not attend, An apology was offered the Authority and the objectors.
