AN increase of 4s. a week in wages of all adult drivers employed by Aand B-licence holders is, as foreshadowed in The Commercial Motor on October 9, proposed in R.H. (47), which was issued last Friday. Proportional increases for juniors are recommended.
Representations on the subject may be made to the secretary of the Road Haulage Wages Council, Ebury Bridge House, Ebury Bridge Road, London, S.W.I, not later than next Friday.
