There's trouble at the National Association of Waste Disposal Contractors. A member of NAWDC has been advocating for some time that the 'association form a transport committee.
In a letter to the editor of the NAWDC journal, Mr A. R. J. Sabey goes on: "It's strange that that the powers-that-be have always considered that the technical committee could cope with transport matters. Mr
Sabey goes on:"it's strange that in March's NAWDC News there are 11 items of transport interest on the first two pages that have not come from the technical committee, but have come with the compliments of Commercial Motor."
Do you know, we don't recall giving the Editor of NAWDC the right to copy our text. But according to NAWDC News Editor, Maggie Armstrong BSc, all is now well.
Here is what Maggie has to say "NAWDC will now receive a flow of information direct from the Ministry of Transport and 'cribbing' from the pages of Commercial Motor should not be necessary."
Maggie dear, you don't really believe that the Ministry of Transport is our only source of information, do you? And really, even in these days of women's lib you might have asked.
