He wm one of the first apprentices taker on by the four Edwards Brother: in 1929, when the embryonic Ed bro company was established tc make tipping gear. In 1936, hE helped Miles Edwards set ur Pilot, and became a director o. the company in 1940. Edbro too' over Pilot in 1962.
