ALL FORD plants in the Londi area are heavily dependent I road transport, says Kenne Bowden, manager of Dagenha general services of the Fo Motor Company Ltd.
The Dagenham estate has i own Thameside jetty and mai line connected rail terminal, b still uses 750 heavy lorries eve day. One third of these is its ov fleet of 240 articulated and rig yehicles, with over 500 traile around the 28-ton gvw mark.
