ANapplication by Flynn Bros. (Contractors) Ltd. to vary their B licence by adding a 9-ton pressure tanker was granted by the North Western Licensing Authority, Maj.-Gen. A. F. J. Elmstie, at Manchester on Wednesday. The vehicle was conditioned to carry salt for Imperial Chemical Industries Ltd., fly ash in bulk as required, and soda ash to I.C.1. customers' silos which were not effectively connected to rail sidings.
