Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

EGULAR groupage services may soon be, established by Samuel Taylor (Hay's Wharf) Ltd. between London, Milan and Brussels. This was revealed by the chairman of The Proprietors of Hay's Wharf Ltd., Sir Rupert de la Bere, in his annual statement. Samuel Taylor is already operating a regular LondonParis ferry trailer service on a trial basis and now a 50,000-sq.-ft warehouse has been taken over as a London terminal for the Continental services and customs clearance privileges have been obtained. Sir Rupert said: "I believe there are prospects for obtaining a large share of the ferry trailer traffic to the Continent, which, in my opinion, is likely to become increasingly important."

The profits of the group's road haulage companies (Samuel Taylor, Hay's Wharf Haulage, R. A. Gibbs of Chudleigh and Duncan Barbour and Son) for 1962/63 were below expectations, said the chairman; the severe winter affected earnings and, in particular, the lowloader-section of Samuel Taylor (Hay's Wharf) Ltd. was virtually immobilized for two months by snow and ice.

Group profits for The Proprietors of Hay's Wharf Ltd. in the year ending September 30 last were £816,951 (net, before tax), and £396,334 (net, after tax); group trading profit was £1,308,718 (gross) compared with £1,287,275 in 1961-62.
