SEVERAL increases in pay and allowances are reported by the Transport

and General Workers' Union. Skilled maintenance and repair grades employed by British Road Services have been granted an extra 7s. 6d. per week, and unskilled men 6s. 6d.

The additional night rate for municipal transport inspectors, certain clerks, foremen and store-keepers has been increased from £30 to £75 a year.
