• Premier Travel Services is adding nearly 21 million worth of new coaches to its Cambridge-based fleet_ Ten new Volvos have been acquired to bring the fleet up to 93 for Premier's range of UK and Continental tours, express routes and local services. The newcomers are the latest models from the Volvo stable with Van Hool Alizee bodies, and are high-specification 53seaters with the latest equipment for long-haul tours, including toilets, drinks machines, videos and air conditioning. One vehicle, specially fitted with a hydraulic lift and adapted for eight wheelchairs, will carry physically handicapped passengers on touring holidays and private charters.
