A To get a licence to drive maximum-length coaches you must take the test in a vehicle of length 27ft Gin or over. A test taken in a coach under 17ft 6in will give you a licence covering vehicles up to 17ft Gin in length. A test taken in a coach under 27ft Gin will give you a licence covering vehicles up to 27ft Gin long.
