FARES for West Midlands PTE journey in Staffordshire rose by up to 66 per cent on Sunday— because the county council is giving less financial support than West Midlands county council.
This fares split is a blow to the PTE Travelcard scheme as from the beginning of June these have ceased to be available for journeys on any route within the county of Stafford.
