AMany people are frightened that being short of breath during exercise is harmful —it isn't. However, being overweight and doing little regular physical exercise will certainly lead to poor fitness levels and reduced ability to exercise. You can do much to help yourself by making lifestyle changes such as stopping smoking, taking regular exercise and a eating a healthy diet.
