• Halifax-based Swalesmoor Mink Farm has been given a formal warning over maintenance at a Leeds disciplinary inquiry. A full maintenance investigation will be carried out before the end of 1996.
Early renewal
• The two-vehicle licence held by Gladstone Bryant, of Handsworth, Birmingham, was only renewed until the end of October by West Midland LA John Pugh, who issued a warning about maintenance.
Fewer vehicles
• The authorisation on the licence held by Andrew Spence, of Consett, has been increased from three vehicles to six vehicles and four trailers, but not the eight vehicles and six trailers applied for. Complaints from neighbours also led to licence conditions.
Licence revoked
• The licence held by Michel Hathaway, trading as M&S Express Skip Hire, of Digbeth, Birmingham, was revoked when he failed to appear at disciplinary proceedings before West Midland LA John Pugh for the second time.
No repute
• "Repeated road traffic offences", including two offences of the fraudulent use of 0-licence discs, have led to the revocation of the licence held by Newton-le-Willows, Lancs-based Michael Lawrenson.
