Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Six York Freightmaster van semi-trailers have recently been supplied to Rivington Carpets Ltd and have been fitted with standard Freightmaster hinged doors to the front as well as to the rear.

Rivington has 20 depots situated throughout the country between Aberdeen and Exeter and the company claims that by having the extra doors turn-round time has been valuably reduced. The trailers specified are 40ft IB32 vans and by using the front doors can be loaded by fork-lift truck, adapted to stack rolled carpet, with little manoeuvring needed. In addition the front doors can still be used while the trailer is coupled to the Atkinson tractive unit if turned at 90 deg to one another.

A full load comprises 60 carpets and the gross weight of a complete outfit is about 25 tons. In order to withstand braking loads the front doors are secured by four — instead of two — cam lock bars, as used on York's ISO containers.
