Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

ALARGER version of their SN dumper has been introduced by Aveling-Barford, -Ltd.; Grantham. The new model has a rated payload capacity of. 35 tons (the maximum gross weight is 54.75 tons) and a newly designed body of 28 cu. yd. capacity is fitted.

Basically,the mechanical specification of the new dumper is similar, to that of the 30-ton" SN 'which was' previously the largest in the range made by the concern and which will remain in production. Power is provided by a Rolls-Royce C8TFL, 16.222-litre eight-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine which gives a maximum output of 450 b.h.p. at 2,100 r.p.m. and a maximum torque of 1.200.1b.-ft. at 1.550 r.p.m.

Alternative transmissions are offered, the standard incorporating a six-speed constant mesh gearbox whilst an Allison Torqmatic CLBT.5960 automatic unit is available as an option. Tyre equipment is 16.00-25 (28-ply) at the front and 18.00-25 (32-ply) at the rear. Ross power-assisted steering is fitted.

The dumper body is of all-welded steel construction reinforced externally with box and channel section. members. The tipping gear employs twin hydraulic rams and a maximum tipping angle of 61.5° is „provided.
