Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

ALTHOUGH their chief object in attending was to maintain contact with those requiring livestock transport, Thomas Muckle and Sons, Ltd., of Rothbury, have provided the Royal Show at Newcastle upon Tyne with an exhibit of exceptional interest in the form of a double-decker cattle carrier, claimed to be the only one in the country. The particular body was built recently for the Muckle fleet and others are likely to follow. The operators concerned told The Commercial Motor that they were prepared to build this design for outside customers.

The chassis of the vehicle shown was an A.E.C. Mammoth Major with 26 ft. container which would carry 35 to 40 cattle. Robustly built, the body has 2 in. by l in. channel uprights and spaceboarded sides of H in. thickness. The alloy loading ramp is fully counterweighted. The same body shell might be adapted for use with a three-deck sheep carrier.

Featuring the Murfitt low-pressure pneumatic discharge system, two Commers and a Dodge form the chief items in the display of Murtitt Bulk Transporters, Ltd. Among the Nuffield exhibits, the Austin Gipsy is to be seen in various forms.

Among many specimens of livestock body work arc representative products from A. C. Penman, Ltd., G. C. Smith (Coachworks), and George Hallowell of Morpeth. Three attractive Seddons, also with livestock bodies, occupy the stand of Longfield Road Motors, Ltd.
