1 (Haulage), Ltd., 65 High Street, Edgware, was acquired on December 31 by Hallett, Silbermann, Ltd., 171 Cricklcwood Broadway, London, N,W.2. The Edgware concern adds 12 vehicles and seven trailers to the parent fleet, making a total of some 50 prime movers and trailers.

The latest additions comprise pantechnicons, platform lorries of from 6 to 17 tons capacity, low-loaders in the 10-15.. ton range and bolster vehicles. They will be controlled and operated from Cricklewood.
