THE net profit of the United Service Transport Co., Ltd., in the year ended September 30 last, was 217,506, compared with 29,978 in the previous year; this figure was arrived at after providing 210,441 for depreciation. Fuel tax and Road Fund duties paid during the year amounted to 241,791. Dividends are maintained at 10 per cent, on the preference and 13.614 per cent, on the ordinary shares. After transferring 27,500 . to reserve, the amount carried forward is 2505, compared with 2463 brought in,
