Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Equipment that allows a small van to be towed on its four wheels without a driver in it to steer has been introduced to the British market by Dial-Holmes (England). Of American origin, the Pilot Tow Bar consists of a triangular towing bar coupled to the towing vehicle by a ball hitch of any size and to the towed vehicle by means of chains fixed to any solid point such as the axle or suspension arms.

When in use, the unit forms a rigid connection between the two vehicles and acts as a buffer and a steering agent for the second.

Marketed by: Dial-Holmes (England) Ltd., Caxton Hill, Ware Road, Hertford, Herts.

Price: £45 net trade.
