APPLICATIONS regarding revised motorbus services following the abandonment of trolleybuses have been lodged with the East Midland Licensing Authority by the Midland General Omnibus Co., Ltd., and the Notts and Derbyshire Traction Co., Ltd. The two operators have replanned many of their services in the southern part of their territory and aim to achieve a measure of co-ordination impossible with two types of working. New services will be introduced and others made quicker and more frequent.
