THIS WEEK'S TOP used truck is a 2007-registered Scania R420 6x2 twinsteer tractor. Listed by Scania dealer Haydock Commercials, the truck is powered by a Euro-4 EGR 12-litre engine producing 420hp, has a threepedal Opticruise transmission, tipping gear and Highline cab. It has completed more than 595,000km and comes with a full Scania service history.
While the manufacturer enjoys a solid reputation, residuals older than Euro-4 and Euro-5 are starting to occupy an increasingly overlooked position in the second-hand market.
