THE following idea has been submitted by Mr. P. Smith, of Kesgrave, nr. Ipswich, and wins this week's prize of three guineas. the counterbored punch over the tap sleeve. A few taps with a suitah hammer and the clip is forced down ti taper sleeve on to the shaft and in the groove in a matter of seconds. Comments Handyman: Mr. Smith has p his finger on a real time-waster. But 1 has shown how the job can be done a few seconds. A very good idea!
