Good Year for Dennis: Mr. David J. Grimes, chairman of Dennis Brothers Ltd.. Guildford, said in the company's annual report that during the year ended September 30 last, there had been an encouraging upward tendency in the order book, with all divisions of the company showing gains as compared with last year. He added that the Miles Fire Appliance business had been completely integrated with Dennis Brothers, his company's reputation as specialist vehicle builders was being extended and they were currently investigating for various wellknown national undertakings the production of vehicles designed for specialist applications. A 30-acre site has been acquired' at Bruneck (Brunico) in the Smith Tyrol.

President to Address Vienna Conference: Mr. Alan Barton, president of the Institute of Public Cleansing, has been invited to address the Eighth International Congress for Public Cleansing (INTAPUC), which is to be held in Vienna next year from April 14 to 17. Mr. Barton, who is general manager of the City of Birmingham salvage department, will give a paper at the morning session on the second day on the subject of " Labour Relations in Public Cleansing

Edward Joy Merger : Edward Joy and Sons Ltd. has incorporated T. R. Parry and Co. Ltd. into its organization. Parry and Co. have manufactured high-class lubricants since 1926, and it is Edward Joy's intention that the products, which include Penrus Oil, Tyreprim, Coaxite and Sprillo B, should continue to be marketed as in the past. This arrangement will enable Edward Joy to manufacture Filtrate in London and improve distribution to the south. Iii turn, the company will manufacture Parry and Co. products at the Leeds works. Mr. Cohn Parry will remain on the board of Parry and Co.. but Mr. T. Parry, N. Parry and Mr. W. D. Parry are retiring at their own wish, Martin Walter P.R. The company is an addition to the Cape Asbestos Group being owned jointly by The Cape Asbestos Co. Ltd. and Imperial-Eastman Corp. of Chicago, U.S.A.

Michelin Depots: On Monday a new Michelin branch office with depot and service station was opened in Leeds, while in Leicester the company's greatly enlarged depot was opened. The Leeds branch address is Ring Road, Lower Wortley, Leeds, 12. (Tel, : 63046112,13.) At Leicester the rebuilt depot is on the ring road and its services will now cover the northern part of Northampton and also Peterborough.
