WELCOMING the Buchanan Rep YV as an excellent and far-seeing do ment, the Passenger Vehicle Operat Association this week stated that it impossible after only a few days' stt to comment usefully on a report wh had taken the author and his team m than three years to produce.
The P.V.O.A. points out that, in past, so many reports affecting passer' road transport have been agreed in pi ciple without subsequent implementat of their details and comments that so reference to the timing of the differ stages to reach " this Utopia '' N obviously have to be given in the c of the Buchanan-Crowther proposals at those stages the P.V.O.A. could m: usefully make its views known.
