To find the used vehicles part of the site, click on 'Trucks' in the horizontal avqation bar at the top of the omepage and then on 'Used' (or 'Vans' nd then 'Used' if you are looking for light CV).
Product search
Road Range uses the same platform for its used truck atabase as other Mercedes dealers do, so it will be assuringly familiar to many Webwatch readers.
Select a category from the list that is presented to you, f r example 'Curtainside' or 'Refrigerated', and the website ill then display all the vehicles in stock that fall into that ategory. All of them will, perhaps unsurprisingly, be Mercs. For each vehicle in your chosen category, you will initially see only the model, price (ex-VAT) and a medium-sized image, but click on that image and another window will pop up with further details including year of registration, mileage, VW, and the number of previous owners. Multiple photos re available for some of the trucks, although none of the hots are particularly large.
If you are using Internet Explorer and have your pop-up locker on the most secure setting, you may have difficulties iewing the vehicle details, so click on 'temporarily allow op-ups' when you see the 'pop-up blocked' message. From the pop-up window, you can use the 'Previous &licher and 'Next Vehicle' arrows to browse the other items f stock in your chosen category. Should a particular truck be of interest, you will find Road Range's contact details right there on the pop-up. Alternatively, click on the 'Enquiry' tag to request a test drive or leave a comment. Other features include a printer-friendly version of any vehicle details page, and the ability to sort vehicles within a category by model or by price (from low to high or vice versa). Unfortunately it isn't possible to search the stock list by a keyword of your choice.
Elsewhere on the Road Range site you will find: information on the M-B range of trucks and vans; maps to the dealer's sites (click on 'About Us' and then 'Find Us'); information on its aftersales services; a page of Mercedes-related news stories; and a list of current offers.
