Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• A Terberg 8x8 chassis has gone into service with recovery operator Lamb and Mansfield. Boniface Engineering carried out the conversion work on the chassis to Lamb and Mansfield's design.

Plated at 40 tonnes GVW, the vehicle will be based at Buxton, Derbys for recovery work on difficult terrain.

A rear-mounted 15-tonne lnterstater under-reach spectacle lift with double hydraulic extension is supplemented by twin Rotzler 20-tonne line-pull hydraulic winches, fed out

through double head fairleads at the back. A stable winching platform is provided by a pair of angled outboard legs with integral roadplates and spades.

Lifting capability is provided by a 40-tonne/metre Bonfiglioli hydraulic knuckle crane mounted behind the cab; it is equipped with four extending booms.

Power comes from a Volvo F12 engine driving through a conventional 16-speed transmission. The vehicle was bought last year in the Netherlands, where it had been working in a quarry.
