Two coaches have been hired from Grey-Green, two from Capital Coaches, and two from Crouch End Coaches. The LT spokesman told CM that he expected that more coaches might soon be obtained.

Some of the 500 AEC merlins stored by LT are being recertified and returned to service to help with the shortage, although LT regard them as unsuitable for London use.
