Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

FOR REALLY striking effect, few, if any, of the many novel and decidedly attractive publicity vans in regular use can outpoint that which we illustrate herewith. This unique vehicle is used by Worthington and Co., Ltd., the well-known brewers, of Burton-onTrent, who, it might be mentioned, have, from the' very early days of the road traction epoch, realized the possibilities of the motor as a powerful ad-. vertising medium, and have not been slew to utilize it to the fullest possible

extent, as their previous ventures in that direction have already conclusively proved. As a matter of met, a similar body to that illustrated was in use on a Spyker chassis before the war.

Since the cessation of hostilities an exceedingly elaborate publicity campaign has been organized by the company, entailing the use of three of these vehicles.

A few particulars of the bodywork

will be of interest to Our readers. As can he seen, the body is a perfect replica

of one of the company's bottles, even down to the very smallest detail. The body is of metal, and it is mounted on a chassis of Daimler make, the engine being a six-cylinder one. In order to provide a look-out and at. the same time preserve the perfect outline of the huge bottle, a semi-circular portion of the neck has been cut away, and a celluloid window fitted. Two smaller windows, one on each side of the driver's seat, pitsvide a means of seeing side traffic. The entire bottle is painted black, and the label is inscribed in correct colours, as on the actual bottles, and an additionally. striking effect is gained by the yellow under-carriage, which provides a strong contrast and makes the vehicle more sight-compelling.

. The end of the body, which is, of course, the bottom of the bottle, is no less perfect in detail, and here a carefully hinged dour, fitted so as to be Almost unnoticeable, gives access _to tha interior. • The vehicle is shod with pneumatics, and is creating a large amount of attention during its present tour: It is at present in the Newcastle neighbourhood, and has to date completed something like 17,000 miles.

In all three vehicles are used. The one illustrated is engaged in touring England, a second has been delegated to Scotland apd Wales, and a: third , is utilized for a similar purpose on the Continent. Advertising matter is dis. tribitted in each of the districts toured.
