Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THIS week we deal with the arrangements which have been made in Chichester and Birkenhead for parking visiting motor coaches.

CurctiEsTER.—As a direct result of our communication with the Chichester authorities, the -chief hackney carriage inspector has been able to arrange that motor chars-a-banes may be allowed to set down and pick up their passengers by the cathedral in West Street, provided that vehicles do not stay there longer than an hour. If it is necessary to park the vehicles for a longer period, they may be placed in the Cattle Market—at owners' risk—for a charge of is. per vehicle. During Goodwood race week visiting motor coaches may be placed in the Cattle Market and remain all night, a charge of 2s. 6d. per vehicle then being made.

BIR.KENEEAD.—The necessity for a parking ground for visiting motor coaches in this borough has not arisen, but the superintendent of the Markets Committee has arranged to park such vehicles under the wholesale covered market at any time, day or night (except Saturdays, when this can only be done after 9 p.m.), for a charge of 2s. 6d. for each coach.
