Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

The Transit was pushed right to the wire by two extremely strong candidates in the shape of the Sevel range and the Mercedes Sprinter.

The Sevel was the only totally new van to join the race this year and it proved an extremely popular choice with the voters. The Severs strong point is its driveability and on-road behaviour; the wheelbase and wheel track is such that the vehicle stays glued to the road even when pushed hard. The styling, not necessarily to everyone's tastes, gives the Sevel a distinctive presence and the cab interior is well appointed.

We've been extremely impressed by the Mercedes Sprinter every time we've come into contact with it. The cab offers excellent ergonomics and all-round visibility; jury members were impressed by the operational functionality of the loadspace, particularly in the 4.25-tonne GVVV version which uses wide-single rear tyres, to minimise wheelarch intrusion.
