Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Premium ran the XF105 extremely close for top votes; at Commercial Motor we've been extremely impressed with its credentials.

The new DX1 1 engine offers exceptional performance and driveability throughout the rev range, swiftly building a strong fan base among drivers.

The same goes for the cab interior — while the light-coloured upholstery isn't our personal favourite, the layout is superb with good visibility while driving and high levels of comfort. Payload potential, thanks to the lightweight chassis, is good and we're hearing good things about improvements in the service levels from the Renault network. which is welcome news for operators.

The third spot in this year's race was filled by the new Volvo FL midrange, just out-pointing its high-horsepower stablemate, the FH 16. Although it uses the same cab 'body-in-white and driveline as its Renault Midlum stablemate, the FL's cab styling, driving dynamics and engine performance make it a deserving bronze medal winner.

Volvo has done well in the UK with its ageing mid-range product; the new FL and slightly larger FE appear to have the potential to unlock some new market sectors for the Volvo sales team.
