CHEREAU TRAILERS has supplied Ralph Davies International with 2.5 new trailers engineered for temperature-controlled work.
The main requirements were durability, thermal efficiency and whole-life costs. Chereau worked with Transrent to design the threecompartment trailers, which can accommodate loads of varying temperatures.
They feature full-width front rubbing plates; failsafc plugs to ensure they are not driven away with the electric standby lead to the fridge still attached; rear supermarket compression buffers; and side impact protection.
