• A West Midlands haulier is searching for new premises in a fight to save his business after arsonists gutted his fleet of four trucks and his buildings, with damage totalling £70,000.
Thomas Jarvis, who operates as Teejay Transport, hopes to move to a nearby site after the attack. The vehicles, parked at his premises at the Gupta Trading Estate, Oldbury, near Dudley, had been loaded with steel.
Jarvis set the firm up 15 years ago. He says: "The fire has done a lot of damage and I'm now the owner of a large pile of ashes. I am hoping to move to an empty unit temporarily to try and save my business—but at the moment I have nothing to put in the premises."
