• Crosland Filters has recently installed a £250,000 test system comprising an air filter test rig and a vibration test rig for its range of oil filters.
They use computer technology to simulate the potential destructive wear caused by unfiltered contaminants.
They will also help with the development of advanced filtra tion products to remove these contaminants.
Bill Bennett, chief development engineer at Crosland Filters, says: "The rigs give us the capacity to perform a wide range of normal and specific test procedures on a variety of filters, with the whole operation being computer controlled, monitored and completed with an automatic data printout."
