Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• A Nottinghamshire haulier says he is on the verge of going out of business after being arrested in France on suspicion of drug smuggling. Stephen Pride of Pride International, which has been in business for six months, was arrested in Calais a fortnight ago after Customs officials found cannabis in boxes in his trailer.

Pride says he was delivering them for a "youth in the South of France who asked me to take them over to England for £200". He was held for four days. "I was released when the police arrested the youth. He cleared me of any blame." However, Pride says he is now fighting to reclaim his truck. "I have to wait on a judge's decision," he says. "Without it, I can't work."

Pride, who admits to misjudgement, warns drivers: "Don't accept anything from people you don't know."
