Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Carosseriefabriek Veth of Arnhem has departed from traditional construction methods and materials in its new Multiliner design. The new concept incorporates a bodyshell made largely from high-strength Twarom fibres and uses a variety of mechanical components derived from standard front-wheel-drive CVs including VW, Fiat and Renault.

The full-size mock-up shown at the RAT show in Maastricht last week had a futuristic streamlined shell with all-round Lexan glazirig which is said to contribute to its structural strength. Front and rear rollover hoops are an integral part of the design.

Veth does not limit the application of the Dutch-made Aramid fibre technology to passenger vehicles. At Maastricht it showed a number of design ideas for light goods vehicles with low deck levels.
