lk AEMBERS of the Road Haulage In Association have been advised to charge the following rates for the carriage ot Christmas mails: Van of up to 250 cu. ft., 9s. 9d. an hour plus 64-d. a mile for every mile over 50 a day; 251-350 Cu. ft., 10s. 3d. plus 60., 351-450 cu. ft., I Is. plus 71d.; 451-900 cu. ft., Ils. 6d. plus 71d.; over 900 cu. ft., 12s. 60. plus 8d.

Daily hire, should be for at least 81 hours, and on Sundays and Christmas Day 5+ hours. Work done between 9 pin, and 6 a.m. should be charged extra at 6d. an hour.
