Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE DIRECTOR OF Hampshire haulier Crossways Transport confirms the business continues to trade despite a meeting of creditors being scheduled to discuss shutting it down.

Jacqueline Carter tells CM she has instructed restructuring, recovery and insolvency experts at FRP Advisory to “investigate” but that a decision over the future of the business, including whether it will be sold, has not been made. She declines to comment further.

Crossways Transport has a licence to operate eight vehicles and 11 trailers and is primarily involved in hauling agricultural and textile products.

An FRP spokeswoman says the creditors’ meeting is scheduled to take place on 10 May.
