Sales in the 4x4 and off-road sector have exploded over the past five years and while much of that growth has come from the leisure/private sector many are used as commercial vehicles with the construction business an obvious consumer.

Santana's new 4x4 has been awarded the Commercial Motor Testers' Choice 4x4 and Pick-up of the Year 2005, and the updated range will be demonstrated off road and displayed with a variety of body options including van, pickup, station wagon and access platform.

Nissan's growth in the commercial vehicle sector has taken many by surprise and all in the space of four years. It now has a brand new line-up of vans and pickups. The pickups will be starring on The Edge, while the vans will be on display on the stand. Renault and Nissan share some of the same products, though they are sold through different networks. Renault UK has a national network of 300 dealers and 40 recognised converters. At the show it will be showing the full range of Renault vans.including the new Master twin rear-wheel-drive dropside.
