Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Hauliers and drivers have a week to object to council proposals to ban trucks from a parking area in Kent which has room for up to 40 trucks each night.

The Road Haulage Association has already lodged its disapproval against LGV drivers being prohibited from the Vale Road parking area in Tonbridge from August. And it is encouraging hauliers to write and object to Tonbridge & Malting Borough Council by 13 May in a bid to keep the site open for trucks between 07:00hrs and 19:00hrs. The site has always been restricted to cars during the day.

Borough engineer Colin Moody recognises the difficulty truck drivers will have in finding alternative parking but says the council has "little option" as it needs the land for development.
