• Volkswagen is to use Mercedes-Benz technology under licence it was agreed in a £100m deal last week VW will source its successor to the LT van range from the new Mercedes van series to be launched next year.
This series which will replace the Ti series, will cover models in the 2.5-4,6 tonne GVW range. In addition Mercedes will supply steering systems, transmissions and axles for the new VW van.
