• Rover will axe the Maestro van this July, after a 10-year production run.
The Maestro is the last mass production commercial vehicle produced by Rover, but its naturally aspirated Perkins Prima diesel engine will not meet the next round of emissions legisla
tion. Van production is not thought to be compatible with Rover's image and current products.
The low-volume Land Rover Defender series and Discovery commercial are now the last remaining Rover commercial vehicle products.
