Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

for Leyland

• Leyland Trucks is negotiating the sale of 700 Series 45based buses for Thailand. The converted trucks would be sold through Leyland Asia Pacific, the wholly owned subsidiary of Thai VP Corporation, the former Daf importer.

Negotiations are proceeding with Thai bodybuilders, although the trucks are likely to be assembled by Thai VP's Bangkok plant from ckd (complete knock-down) kits. Thai VP's assistant managing director Geawjai Phaoenchoke says the number is the minimum required in the first year. "It could be more," she says.

The agreement with Leyland Asia Pacific was announced in January following Leyland Truck's re-birth by management buy-out in June last year. The export drive has led to the re-launch of a number of export models including the Scammelltype Roadtrain 350 6x4 tractor.
