be used to drive the following (a) an artic unit without trailer less than 3 tons unladen weight?
(b) as above but coupled by towbar to a similar unit?
(c) a Land-Rover and four-wheeled trailer with a vehicle on the trailer making a gvw of 3i tons?
AOn the subject of hgv driving licences,
no such licence would be required in any of the three cases stated. If, however, the tractive unit mentioned in question (a) and (b) weighed more than 3 tons unladen then a hgv driving licence of at least Class III would be required in these two cases.
