• Officials of Leeds City Transport are considering the ideas submitted for a tape record warning to be given by the noiseless electric buses as they approach pedestrians on the roadway, and they have plenty from which to make their final choice.

Commenting on the matter the transport manager, Mr Thomas Lord, said since they announced their search for a new signal, the response had been fantastic and they were flooded out with suggestions, some of which were very worthwhile.
